DID YOU KNOW? The Department of Labor (DOL) has issued the Employer's Guide to The Family and Medical Leave Act. This guide is meant to provide “essential information about the FMLA, including information about employers’ obligations under the law and the options available to employers in administering the leave under the FMLA.” In addition, the DOL issued a new FMLA poster. However, the DOL has stated that the February 2013 version of the FMLA poster is still considered compliant, and either poster may be used to satisfy the FMLA’s posting requirement.
